US Passport is here!!!
YAY!!! Sakari's US Passport is here!!! We are SO EXCITED!!! Since we are traveling to Peru in just a few weeks...YAY!!

Look at her 2 passports...notice the difference in her two pics...SO CUTE!
For all you other adopting parents...all you need to apply is the full and final adoption decree from your state (with any legal name changes and has to have the raised seal), the permanent residence card...and that is it...we sent a copy of our Ethiopian adoption decree, it wasn't really required but the lady at the post office said the more info the better. They didn't give us any trouble at all for what we needed...if you print off the passport app online with the directions it has what you need for applicants born abroad and #4 has specifics for people who have been adopted. Hope that helps! YAY for US PASSPORT!! :0)

Sakari's baby dedication...
We had Sakari's baby dedication last night at church...it was amazing...what an awesome privilage to dedicate our child to the Lord. Here is the video...she enjoyed being on stage :0)...and she was trying to talk to her cousins who were standing behind us!
