I LOVE THANKSGIVING!!!!
We got Sakari to yell this out (well, sort of...) all day today...cuz basically, WE LOVE THANKSGIVING! We had a great relaxing day! Earlier in the day, my (Caleb) sister and her husband and my brother came over just to hang out. Grace and Jeremy brought over Charlie (their labradoodle - who is brother to our new addition Jack - they are almost 12 weeks old) to play and hang out...it was a blast. We hosted at our house and got most of our prep done yesterday so today was just awesome - no stress. Weather was perfect and had fun with friends and family...after eating and eating and eating, we all curled up on the couches and watched the Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe...it was just a perfect day! I know it's a short and somewhat vague update - but hey, even my fingers are sleepy :-) Tomorrow, we have a "Day after Thanksgiving" breakfast scheduled with my (Caleb) side of the family that will include pumpkin pancakes with roasted pecans and syrup, sausage, coffee and more delightful morsels. Becca may go and brave a few stores tomorrow, though we are done with our shopping and all our wrapping is done too! Christmas tree has been up for well over a week now and we are loving the season...it's SO fun because Sakari is home with us this year and things can't get much better! Enjoy the pics!

Hi Becca and Caleb,
I just wanted to say thank you for sharing your pictures and stories on this blog. You have been a wonderful inspiration to me. I really enjoying seeing how blessed you are with Sakari. My husband and I are dealing with infertility and have been researching adoption vs. IVF. Your story is very uplifting! Thank you!
Happy 1st Thanksgiving sweet Sakari!!! Love the pics--looks like you had an awesome day! So thankful for your precious family! :)
Happy Thanksgiving, friends! This year was so much fun, and to think back on the waiting game we were all playing last year made it even more wonderful this year!
Love Sakari's curly cues in the pics. Oh, and I totally love labradoodles!
